Silent auction items for Christmas party.
Del Michaud has donated a couple of items for our silent auction to be finalized at the Christmas party on Saturday, December 7. We will have a bid system going online where members and guests will be able to bid for any of the items.
When bidding up, the minimum bid must be more than five dollars from the previous bid.
Please contact Shane via text with your bid and it will be posted to the website. You can use a nom du plume as long as Shane knows who you are.
The bidding sheets for these items will be posted on the club website on November 12.
1. A lightweight red jacket size large. Has a small Calgary Canada logo embroidered on the front and a small Canada logo with three small maple leaves on the upper back. This jacket has never been worn.
2. A framed poster of a gas balloon flying over France. It is a print of the poster that hangs in the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. It represents 200 years of ballooning. 1783 to 1983. It is 24 inches wide by 39 inches high. While it would look great in anyone’s home, it would also be excellent in an office or a lobby area.
